Organising Freshers Week is a fun but complicated process here are some simple tips to make the process a little easier.
1. During freshers week use ice breaker events like the cops and robbers night and white t-shirt night for the first night. Then for the rest of the week have a mixture of formal events like the freshers ball & James Bond night, with themed events like the wild west night & pyjama Party and finally with ultimate club experiences like a foam party, headphone disco and Co2. Saving your best event for the final night of the week.
2. If you don't have much events experience or technical knowledge ask the company you are dealing with to explain everything simply to you we do this as standard. We may be using a Martin Mac 2000 with a custom glass gobo powered by 16A wirelessly DMX controlled via an Avolites Tiger desk but you don't need to know this when we could say one of our lights will project your JCRs logo and slowly move it round the room.
