Our client had attended many of our previous events and was keen to hire us to provide a complete technical production for her private 17th foam party.
The Brief
To provide complete production including a marquee, generator, foam machine, pa system, DJ equipment, nightclub lighting, outdoor lighting, toilets and top DJ, for a private students 17th foam party.
The Production
The venue offered was literally a field with no power supply or running water so to provide a dance space we erected a marquee suitable for all 150 guests. We installed low power LED lighting creating that all important dance floor atmosphere without tripping the power supply. We used a series of outdoor flood lights to safely guide guests to the marquee.
With the events main focus on dancing sound quality was crucial however because this was an outdoor event with potential noise pollution problems we couldn't use a lot of bass. Instead we installed four full range speakers consisting of two Martin Audio F12s and two powered JBL Eons filling the marquee with first class sound.
The main aspect of a foam party is obviously the foam and to create this we used a master blaster foam cannon creating gallons of foam completely covering the dance floor and dancers.
